Algorithm reviews

It Is A low cost puzzle game, whose simplicity shown in the trailer caught my attention. The main objective of Algorithm is to trace the route that our robot will have to follow to reach the goal. In its route, the robot can activate buttons, avoid enemies, push blocks, among other activities that we will have to plan at the beginning of each room. The idea is very standard puzzle games, but the implementation has not been the best... Record Time from the second room, show us the time it took the robot to reach the goal, giving the possibility to improve it. However, the speed button is located far away from the button to start the tour, wasting time between clicking one button and the other. Perhaps the best strategy is to graduate the speed before starting the tour, or playing from a tablet. However, time is vague. Sometimes it is counted from the first time you enter the room and not since we started the game. In any case, there is no option in the game to visualize our best times, making it even more irrelevant. On one occasion, he showed me that my best time is 0 seconds. I'm definitely the best. Start/Repeat There is Only one button to start or repeat the route. If we were wrong plotting the route, we should also start the tour to repeat it. If We click twice to start the tour, we will have repeated the game and deleted our route. Can you imagine how useful it would be for these functions to be in separate buttons? In Addition, the button to start the tour is inside the room where we have to trace the route. Sometimes we have to click dangerously close to the button and, if we accidentally click, we will have lost more seconds for our world brand. Interact with the elements of the room While we click on the room, leave a trail of yellow dots that represent a position of the route that our robot will follow. If we want to press a button or push a lever, we must make sure that the yellow dot is marked as close as possible to these elements. If We click on the center of a button or a lever, the position will not be fixed. We will Only see the robot coming the target and move away slowly... Physical and a bit of logic When we get to the first room where we have to make our robot push a block, we realize that the physics are not very well achieved. Even If We know how to solve the riddle, the robot refuses to take the block with it. It'S a little frustrating. Fortunately, just leave the block as close as possible to the buttons to work and not on them to "push", as in all other games. Point to originality. Gravity? If our robot is achieved with an obstacle that can not overcome the first attempt, will have an unexpected behavior. You Can go backwards or be attracted by a force of gravity that will leave us no choice but to repeat the game. The Music Certainly The best of the game. The only clue that is present in all the screens of the game, is so soft and quiet that you close your eyes and almost makes you forget the negative points. Conclusion The difficulty of the game lies in having to fight against all the inconcistencias that it presents. I Have played enough to complete all the rooms and some I could complete thanks to the unexpected errors of the game. It Doesn't have replay value, so it's not something I play back in my free time.
