Algotica - Iteration 1
About
Algotica is an educational adventure-puzzle game about programming, along with a story that breaks the fourth wall. If you wanted to start learning programming but it seems too difficult to understand, you don't have enough time, or you're just not sure that you need it - this game is a great place to start.
One of my main aims was to create a really interesting and new story. To achieve this, the narrative of the game evolves between three main characters: a program Named Lony (the main protagonist of the game), myself as a developer of this game, and you as the player of this game.
The main aim is to lead a program named Lony from the start point to the end point of a level. This must all be done using only formal rules and logic of the in-game world - Algotica. Although the game seems simple, each new level has new obstacles and sometimes even new mechanics. With each new stage, you will use more advanced programming mechanics and understand more about programming and algorithms.

I will Honestly tell the trial version of the game spiral, just look "like it". It Turned out that after the start of the game I poured for a couple of hours, did not even notice how time flew by. After all, I learned that the game was developed one person plus all compatriot. The Game was bought, not regretted. The Truth in the official version of the game met the bugs, which I did not have in the pirate. Bugs are small, but still deliver some inconvenience (through the time the hot keys in the functions and in the manual already read instructions still hang with an exclamation mark). That the character fills in a jump in blocks and trees (if missed), for me too uncritically. Inserting blocks of code, than that reminded the game Human Resource Machine, but there is basically a picture static, and here it seems like a character can run around the game world, collecting "meaningless glasses", open the chests and meet funny NPC. Very delivered visual component, original (IMHO), but if you play at night eyes, tired of bright colors, but not so sure as in No Man's sky. On, various forums met the Hayters who scolded the game for bugs and as games simulating programming advised that something like Colobot, TIS-100, LightBot, etc., to which I answer that you can not compare these games, they are completely different in mechanics, Narrative and visual components. Insignificant, but especially annoying minus I consider bugs on different levels, and there are such shortcomings periodically. So, after the patch 1.0.5 appeared "small glitches" that do not allow to complete some levels, from this passage of the game has to throw before the release of a new patch-it is very sad.
The Game is definitely recommended, especially those who like puzzles directed towards programming, with a good presentation of history and a cool picture. But for today it is impossible to pass completely (BAAGUAGIIA). I wish the Developer further success, I think this game will appeal to many people.

And so... Screenshots are hooked, as is the popularization of programming. But as all unfriendly and fun! At the beginning of the game you do not suffer from the fact that though the character runs like a burnt, turns to half an hour, that at the slightest press on CTRL appears a tedious hint of hotkeys (especially when you are just hotkeys and use, stupid popup!), When there is a hotkey on each team, but there is no need for a Break, or it exists somewhere, but again intuitively you will not find, when you want to create a block of code in the middle of the program or duplicate something in the middle, but you have to create a command at the end, and then its Move. KIND OF LIKE YOU COULD NOT NOTICE. For The Neilla disagree that the minimalist style is embodied nicely and pleasantly to the eye. And even fun was exploring Free Memory everywhere to find these Unity-like bugs, when you can squeeze between the trees and fall somewhere where you're kind of dead, but there's nothing, or some block that might have been for the background, but for some reason has physics. But when starting an empty program did not work any hotkei, it was already unpleasant. When trying to open the trunk you realize that to open it you need some specific numbers from many matching the equation and to the equations like (x = = 5 | x = = 3) and (y = = 8 | y = = 2) The answer must be necessarily x = 3 and y = 2 or similar! And then what? "Oh, Paci! I hope I was not vain to make the basgreort and someone has already told about these problems, they in fact in the beginning ". No. For some Reason the details that seemed to me were visible to the naked eye were not corrected. Chests are the same unoperable, writing code is just as inconvenient. By the Way, here is a bug report-after loading my save, the game sees that I opened a bunch of hotkeys, but none of them, except the standard, does not work. I Hope these small flaws, which spoil the mess, will be eliminated, and so far I can not advise this game.
