Welcome to the Ambiverse!

We are a team of 2 people making a game about 2 people, entangled across Spacetime, overcoming Fear in a surreal cosmos.

Featuring both deep lore and mechanical depth, Ambiverse is conceived as an attempt at holistic game design - Gestalt - from its high concept to the tiniest GUI element.

Having worked together several times before, during our (Game Design) studies, this prototype represents our first passion project, aimed at a "Japanophile" core gamer audience - and their friends - no matter if hardcore or casual!!

(We believe: When you play with friends, that stuff doesn't matter!)

Playable alone or co-op, it's a unique blend of mind-bending puzzle platforming, hi-octane character action and tactical (J)RPG combat!

In this prototype, players can phase between two mirroring worlds, as they explore a gauntlet-type level and face 3 enemy types in 6 semi-turn-based battles.

(Full version will feature 2 playable characters with a unique progression system and a compact yet complex narrative)
