Among the Sleep reviews

First Of all: "A great Game in the style of a Children's Nightmare" I have finally played the Game 100% and can now say clearly: The purchase was worth it! For my money I got a game that reflects with Heart, Body and Soul the Fears and problems of the Protagonist (of a 2-Year-old Boy)-and not bad. I think you have to play the game yourself without any previous knowledge (videos, spoiler

The childish Anxiety Among the Sleep is beautiful, chilling and short Game. Gameplay In the Game you play a Two-hander, so the Developers could come up with nice Things here. Usually you crawl on all Fours. However, one has to stand up more often and then moves more slowly. At the same time, you can also fall by chance, with the poor Child then screaming. The Goal of the Game is to collect virtually 4 Memories, which you have to use. So you come after a short Introduction to 4 different "Worlds." In General, the Game is very linear (apart from The Prologue), you sometimes have to hide and solve rather simple Puzzles and climb somewhere on it. The sweet Teddy Bear is usually carried with you, which then works in a similar way to a Flashlight. (And he's cute). Among the Sleep completely dispenses with Blood or The like. You can put yourself very well into the Two-year-old, as you're more likely to fear the Darkness and the shady Outlines. There are a few jumpscares, but I didn't find them particularly violent. So The Game lives more on the Atmossphere. I particularly liked this at the Extra Level of the Prologue (Quasi nen Extra, which has nothing to do with the actual Story), because the Level is not so linear and I thought it was incredibly good and also cute. Graphics The Game is when it is not extremely dark, very colored and looks pleasantly simple. Metaphorically speaking, it could stand for the colorful, beautiful Beginning of life, but I will not exaggerate. In General, the Graphics succeeded well, the Face of the Mother I found net quite so beautiful. I found it particularly nice that you can look down on yourself and see yourself (and the Teddy). Conclusion Among the Sleep was a lot of Fun for me. It stands out, I think, strongly from other Games by its Own way. The only negative Things I can attach is that Books and Texts are in Norwegian, and you can't delve further into the World by looking at some Things. (Would It be possible to edit the Textures according to English). Dates doesn't hurt as much as the unfortunately far too short Game time, as after 3 Hours you pretty much played through the Game. But at least the Developers didn't just drag the Game long annoyingly. For me, Among the Sleep is a real Indie Pearl And I can really only recommend it! Did the Review help you?
