An Other Golf Game

An Other Golf Game is not your typical openish world sandbox life-sim survival golf game experience featuring permadeath. You'll learn the art of golf on your own terms: picking clubs, assessing the wind, and, of course, tracking down that stray ball no matter where it lands. It’s a game for those who want to discover, adapt, and make every inch of progress on their own.

Beyond the golf course, life goes on—literally. You're living out entire days, where golfing may or may not be part of it, it's entirely up to you. You’ll have to keep yourself alive, managing food, water, and sleep while earning enough cash through odd jobs to keep your golfing dream alive.

It’s a game that tests patience, resourcefulness, and adaptability. If you’re willing to roll with the quirks, laugh off the Early Access growing pains, you might just discover an experience that’s both unexpectedly rewarding and thoroughly unconventional.

This is my first game. I am making it by myself. Everything needs polishing. I promise you will die relentlessly to bad physics and weird bugs, lose multiple clubs in the ground and even have your car door kill you. You may never even find the golf course, I am sure many of you will quit before you spend the time to find it. This is as much a puzzle, as it is a life sim, as it is a golf game.

WARNING: RIGHT HAND PERSPECTIVE ONLY. The player is actually left handed, and they learned to golf right handed. That said, if you're left handed, sorry. But, actually, technically you will be getting the full experience, so, I guess it is a... you're welcome.

I am excited to continue the work on this project to make the entire experience more refined and of course add the missing features some of which are detailed above. Thanks for your patience. I also expect early access to quickly shine light on any potential bugs that have gone unnoticed in the playtests, please consider joining the discord to report any issues you experience.
