Animal Heist (Flávio Abreu)

Animal Heist is a 2D top-down 2-player game that combines capture-the-flag with elements of maze-running, escape-rooms, stealth and chasing. 

You can either play as a guard of a high-security facility where they keep animals for testing, or as an infiltrator activist that wants to free them all from their cages. Use your tools to catch the intruder or to help the animals escape, while navigating through a laser maze that requires specific keys to pass through. 

This project was completed in one week, back in January 2020, as a part of programming classes, with the challenge theme "Inside".

I worked on the game and level design, C# coding, and most of the art assets used in the game, in collaboration with classmate Afonso Gonçalves.
