Aninag is an action game set in a Philippine cemetery. It dives into the exciting world of Filipino mythology, and beliefs that have been passed to different generations. It creates a sense of nostalgia for your childhood and introduces Filipino culture to our own and other people's

The game is a vertical platformer where you are being chased by Amaranhig as the night gets dark. On your way up, you must collect candles to light up your way and to repel these evil pursuant.

Aninag is an action game set in a cemetery. It dives into the exciting world of Filipino mythology, and beliefs that have been passed to different generations. It creates a sense of nostalgia for your childhood and introduces the culture to our own and other people's. 

The story begins with ‘Das’ a 12-year-old boy who lives in the cemetery. He’s no ordinary boy. His peculiar talent with great obligation was passed by a ghost of an Albularyo in the cemetery when he helped him find his lost grave!

When Das inherited an Agimat from the odd Albularyo, the spooky and thrilling obligation began for him–to lock the bad creatures inside the cemetery every night and protect the mortals! The baddest creatures were the Amaranhigs who rises from the dead every 6:00 PM. They’re creatures thirsty to victimize a mortal and go out of the cemetery to clench their thirst. There were also bad spirits in the cemetery. They are friends with the Amaranhig and a thorn on Das throat! The evil spirits make Das’s life difficult in locking the Amaranhig in the cemetery by making sure he won’t be able to pass by them. 

But remember, when there is darkness, there is light! The ghosts with unfinished businesses trust Das’ ability and peculiar talent. They will help Das fulfill his missions and discover more, in return for dramatic yet funny favors! 

Join Das’ adventure in exploring the odd cemetery and collect things he will see that will help him prevent the chaos in the mortal world! See you on the journey of ANINAG.
