Another Sight reviews

Another Sight is a picturesque puzzle adventure plattformer in an artful surreal gameworld inspired by Victorian London and steampunk. The player controls a visually severe limited/almost blind girl as well as a cat that helps her moving and getting forward in a phantastic environment. During their journey they cross Monet's garden, have a musical session with Claude Debussy and visit the legendary Nautilus!... The controls are not so smooth. This might at some points bring the player to the edge of frustration, but it can be understood as the presentation of the restricted movement of a blind person trying to find a way in a strange world in my opinion. Art and visuals of the levels are beautiful and discovering the game world through the eyes of both characters was extraordinary. I felt well entertained and therefore give it a thumb up.

Product received for free "Another Sight ..." A little by chance I stumbled across it, off to the Wish List and was then gifted with this Game by a Friend. Thank you again at this Point. < 3 This is a vertically and horizontally scrolling "puzzle platformer" driven by a Story. One himself controls "Kit," a young Girl, and Hodges, a mysterious Hangover. Between the two Characters can and must be switched back and forth to overcome various Obstacles and Puzzles. Everyone has their own Skills that can help each other. To the Story, of course, I'm not going to spoil anything else at this Point. It was only said so much that for me this one came across very "mean-spirited." Taken As a whole, it was good, but personally I would have liked more Explanations about the Background. In Purely the Design, the Game is beyond reproach. The Graphics and general Presentation are simply beautiful and coherent. The Environments vary from bleak to colorful, but sometimes sometimes gloomy or mysterious. The Soundscape is fine even if some Sound samples can sometimes be really annoying and unnecessarily loud. The Difficulty of the Puzzles is pleasant, certainly not a special Challenge for Puzzle professionals, but you can't go through it Blindly either. Verdict: Recommended for Fans of Side-scrollers, Plate'ose Runs and a good Little mysterious story. Pro:-beautiful Game idea & charming Staging-interesting Story (although too little dissolved and explained for my Taste)-wonderful graphics-enchanting hand-drawn cutscenes-Music Pleasant-very generous memory Points-Collectibles & Chapter selection (after closing the Game once)-German Subtitles (if desired)-playing Time depending on the Skill 4 1/2 Hours (absolutely fine in my Eyes) Contra:-some Sound samples are unnecessarily annoying and loud-sometimes a Newcomer of the last Storage Points necessary because a Character could no longer be moved after he had died before------All game reviews of mine in my < < Review Area > >
