We found it to be highly original. The duality was a clever design choice. The game mechanics were a fun combination. We enjoyed the graphics a lot.

What is Anxiety?

You as a player is the personification of Anxiety, crawling through the mind of a person in this platformer style game with the aim of overwhelming and corrupting the Brain.

The idea is that each level represents a mental disorder, the first one being Bi-Polar Personality Disorder, which causes a person to experience drastic mood swings. This is represented in the level by the two vision modes: Red-lit for a positive mood, where we see the platforms and our goal to reach, Blue-lit for a negative mood where we see the dangers ahead. For completing a level, the player gains an ability that relates to the specific disorder in a way, in Bi-Polar’s case, the player is able to split itself in two, and use this on completing further levels.
