Anxious Romance: Madly In Love

You are LUTE, a talented musician who just so happens to have a date tonight. 

You have been invited out by a close acquaintance of yours whom you admire. However, as the night begins your anxiety has started to take root. Not wanting to ruin the night, your only option is to persevere!

This game is a hybrid Bullet Hell and Dating Sim. You will alternate between fighting off a manifestation of your anxiety in Bullet Hell segments, and progressing your relationship in Dating Sim segments. Fending off your anxiety and making the right choices during your date will help you get through the night, but things will only get harder for you as your anxiety worsens. 

Developed by Brenton Lenzen for the Texas Aggie Game Developers Spring 2022 Game Jam "Descent into Madness".

This game supports input from both keyboards and gamepads.
