Apollo 11 VR HD reviews

Would have expected more ... The VR Experience puts a Mainly part of the Role of the Spectator. You get the Impression it's a Demo. Compared To free VR Space tips, it doesn't bring any added value. The Graphics and Animations are Okay, but the Led ads don't seem real, they seem flat. You can briefly control the Spacecraft during Docking and the moon landing. What's missing: The Hands are useless, you can't press buttons, you've grown stuck in the Spaceship, the Service Module can only be seen from the outside. I would have hoped you could open the Hatches to the Lander, after Docking maneuvers or after Landing. Also the Start from the Lunar Surface, one watches as if one of the colleague had forgotten. The app is too expensive 1.99E would be Appropriate to the Extent, as you probably only "Play Through" it once. A Cheekiness is to make Fans pay twice for a Graphic Update

The HD Version is not to be endured on my Oculus Rift. With every Head Movement, the writing, the Image, just everything moves in the opposite laws towards my Head Movement, which creates Dizziness and standing Up a Loss of Balance. Only if you keep your Head completely still is possible. How to turn off that errant effect, I didn't find out. In the Non-HD version, this Problem does not exist, but in some Chapters the Image appears only on the Monitor, but not in the VR glasses. The Oculus Touch controllers are supported by me and sometimes it doesn't work. If I Close the HD app via the Oculus menu button, then I have to take off the Glasses and Close Oculus, Steam VR and Steam, because the App shows that the Image is constantly wobbling and lagging. From my Point of view, poorly programmed, as are unfortunately many other VR apps. Therefore, the App Cannot recommend.

Experience very immersive and well made, progress compared to Appolo 11 VR but what bothers me is the lack of localization, one is in 2018 and still no translation in French, Spanish, German etc... (at least for texts and subtitles) I want to believe that one is on a low budget production but it would have been better to invest time to locate the game rather than modify the textures, the assets, the animations and the sounds that bring a more without transcending the classic Apollo 11 but especially this is not what will allow a total immersion since unless you speak perfectly English, it is impossible to understand correctly all radio conversations in particular. I recommend because it's worth it but I do not congratulate the development team for the lack of investment to internationnalize the experience/game. And I reproach the same thing to Titanic VR:/ But as hope makes life, I hope that one day the experience will be available in several languages:)
