Archer (fordhash)

This short game was the product of a 2 week class assignment to create a platformer in Gamemaker. You play as the hero, Archer.  Your goal is to get to the end and defeat the evil Beastmaster who has taken control of the kingdom.

The music is generated with WolframTones. The sound effects are made in Bfxr. Some of the sprites are made from a template, but most are taken straight from google images (unfortunately I do not have the sources for them). Keaton Ball did the artwork compilation.

Some notable things about this project:

• Several different enemy AI I came up with
• Camera  positioning  to show more of the direction you're facing

The enemy archer AI and the hawk AI are the coolest things in this project, in my opinion.
