About
Archtower is an action/rpg, most of rpg elements are gonna be added later in development.
PLOTThere is a great Tower in the world of the game. It is always been there. Primitive community of people, organized in family clans, are trying to get into it. You are playing for one of those families. Who knows what will next offspring of your clan find there, a fame, some treasures, or just a painful death.
CLASSESEvery time you restart a level you get a new character with randomly choosen class. Here are currently available classes:
Fighter
Primary - Sword attack, fast and strong
Secondary - Charge, fast movement forward, can be used to run away, ethier can be paired with a sword attack for offence
Vagabond
Primary - Throwing rock, fast and powerful ranged attack, it can instantly kill humanoids with head shots, even player itself, be careful, but if you won't hit humanoid in the head, it won't deal any damage then, to player itself as well
Secondary - Stick strike, slow steady blow, helpful when you are forced to engage in melee combat
Firestarter
Primary - Stick strike, slow steady blow, helpful when you are forced to engage in melee combat
Secondary - Flaming vial, ranged damage over time attack, enemies burn for a few ticks
Poisoner
Primary - Stick strike, slow steady blow, helpful when you are forced to engage in melee combat
Secondary - Poison vial, ranged damage over time attack, enemies slowly loss a lot of their health points
Passive - Poisons resist, reduces duration for Poisons and Toxins that affect a player
Main:
WASD + mouse - movement;
Space - jump;
LMB - primary attack;
RMB - secondary attack;
E - talk to npc;
F - heal potion;
M - minimap;
Tab - switch first/third-person mode.
Extra:
PageUp - turn on/off fps monitoring, enemies' hp show and some statistics;
Shift+Delete (if fps is shown) - go to next hero
B (if fps is shown) - spawn blood on yourself for tests
L (on title screen) - switch languages (english/russian).
