Just play a Megaman instead

Much better than the first version A.R.E.S. extinction agenda EX corrects the flaws of the previous version and offers us more important content. The music is always as good, the graphics as well as the ergonomics of the menus have been reworked. We will nevertheless regret the low life of the game (about 2-3h to make the campaign with a character). But at the proposed price this new A.R.E.S. deserves its place in your library.

This EX version of the game A.R.E.S. extinction agenda turns out to be a nice tribute to the MegaMan and Metroid sagas. However even to play on it I think the game would have won not to be cut in levels but to propose an open world both the scoring systems and experience at the end of levels are under-exploited. We will regret the repetitiveness of the game and his bestiary quite limited nonetheless thanks to a catchy gameplay, impressive bosses and graphics tape to the eye it can be worth the shot.
