Arms Dealer reviews

To the Developer I love tycoon games and hoped that Arms Dealer can once again be something that captivates me for Weeks. Unfortunately, however, it seems that the Game is hardly to no further development. From June to August, as a "major update," they "only" managed to incorporate speed controls. Announce, however, that they are working on another Game. The Moderator and Developer Most-Wanted had not been represented on the Steam forum for over 200 Days. There has also been no Information or Answers since then. To the Game You don't really find in the Game. The Tutorial is nothing explanatory and everywhere it seems as if something is missing. Sure, it's EA, but if nothing has really changed for half a Year, then the Game is dead to me. The Graphics are fine and serve its Purpose. For me, the Fun of the Game is 0. I really want to be able to love the Game, the setting is great and unused, but it just seems to me like a Mouse entertainment Game where you can only click through Menus and then hope something happens that seems understandable to you. Nothing is self-explanatory. It's Only by testing out that you get on it. The Game could become what if work is still being done on it. However, I doubt it very strongly.

I love Trading Simulations and don't bother with Graphics or small Bugs. Unfortunately, with this Game, the Problem is that you can't even complete the Tutorial because you don't open up the Game goal or Function in any Way. The Instructions are limited to "bribe them here press there" without illuminating the Meaning behind the Actions. Even after 10 + Attempts to finish the Tutorial, I still don't have the slightest idea of how this Game works. Another Point that weighs negatively is the utopian Sum of money with which you start. You have no Sense of profit margins and meaningful Investment. It would have been better to let the Player start with a low Starting capital in order to make him rise from "Backyard sale of some Pistols" to "Supplier of weapons of War." That would also prevent being formally slain by the Masses of Options. The Menus are confusing the Buttons hardly Recognizable as Controls. The Tutorial Window is constantly covered by the Menus when opened. Constantly, when you click on minimized Windows, the Option menu opens, adding to the Confusion. Verdict: The Game is totally immature and will not achieve the Status of "sensibly playable," at least for the foreseeable Future. It is a pity that potential has definitely been wasted here.
