ASCENDANCE reviews

ANCESTRY ▸ writing ANCESTRY is a contemplative game, so there is not much to say on it. No story, just some kind of poetry in the decorations and graphics. Perhaps, the most inspired or the most attracted will find a moral, a philosophy or even a "story" in some way. This is what makes her beauty, pretty and attractive, ANCESTRY will make "travel" those who desire and those who love this genre. Composed of 3 different levels (LAPIS, RUINAS, CIVITAS) more or less long, can be one of them will please you more than others. Of course, if you are not of this type, it does not prevent you from trying it. But I wouldn't recommend it. There is no real action in ANCESTRY, everything is smooth, nothing is, in any case, annoying. It's often complicated to recommend or not this kind of game I find. It really depends on the person; unless the mechanics are rotten, but this is generally not the case (these are not triples A either). There are still some small bugs with some types of platform though. For me ANCESTRY is a title that may interest the same people who have been interested in games such as Refunct and who just want to spend a quiet time on a game without any pressure or real frustration. Product received for free I have only played the first Level, but I would like to give my Opinion now because of the divided Opinions in the Reviews. Should anything change in this, I will edit this Review immediately. ASCEDANCE is a very cool, simple Platformer. Simple, in Mechanics. The Degree of Difficulty is certainly not. In The first Level alone, it just starts, the further you get, the more you have to think. I think that this will increase in Complexity as it progresses. But I also have to say, as a Person who otherwise rarely finds himself in these Types of Games, that it is also feasible for Beginners, as the first paths of the first Level are kept really simple and the "clear Line" is quite recognisable. It is also worth noting that these 45 Minutes I spent in the first Level passed as if in Flight! Even if I didn't get any further, spoiled the same Leap for the fifth Time, then there was no Frustration, but rather Ambition. This may probably be individual for everyone, but I didn't want to leave it unmentioned. Overall, the first of three Levels has left a very good Impression and from here a clear Buy recommendation. I also think that's not going to change as the Mechanics are going to stay the same and only the Level of Difficulty is going to go up. The Mechanics feel good, by the way. In the Beginning, I had to experiment a bit around until I found the right mix of slow and fast for me, but after that I was more or less in Flow. The very low Price of 3.99 is very reasonable, in my Opinion almost a little too low, because I would have paid (in Retrospect) this Price also for the first Level. And if you consider that there are now two Levels to come, which will probably be a bit more extensive, then you really can't go wrong with this Price. Note: I emerged as one of several Winners from a Sweepstakes on Twitter, which is why I received this Product for free. However, This does not affect my Opinion in any Way.
