Just out of curiosity to prompt discussion.Mine would be Rome at the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476CE. I think you could create a really interesting backstory about the fall of the last Emperor and the rise of the Goths/Ostrogoths.Edit: more reasoning as to why I say Rome at the fall...Rome in the 5th Century had so much history. If Ubisoft created it with the same attention to detail as Odyssey and Origins (and Mirage, so I've read) it'd be mindbogglingly good. There could be an amazing side game/DLC set in Constantinople/the Byzantine Empire too, showing the two halves of the Empire after the western half fell.
Ac Mirage's release date.So I know it says the game releases on the 5th of October but it says at midnight 00:00 so does that mean it releases actually on the 6th of October or does it mean the 4th going into the 5th? I understand I'm silly for not understanding but I remember they did the same with the other games but I don't remember what actually happened lol.Edit: can people let me know what is the reason for disliking my question, I think its a valid question even though its just me being stupid.
In AC oddessey you could vault with a similar mechanic to unitys where you could vault over almost anything holding b, or circle. Will mirage have this, or will it be the automatic vaulting seen in origins?
Today i was trying to complete the bomb challenges, but i encountered a little ,,glitch,,. The only challenge i had left was ,,Kill 20 guards with tripwire bombs,, so i roamed around, setting tripwire bombs on the path of the 4 guard groups. Once i killed 5 of those groups the message for completing the challenge didn't show up, so i decided to look it up through the menu........yep, it said i killed just 4 guards. Since then i have killed like 20 more groups of 4 guards (it took me like 2-3 hours) and it's currently at 10/20. What gives ? Am i doing something incorrectly ?
Even tho the games say altair and ezio are not related the animus says it only connects the hosts Danna to past ancestors so there is a logical fallacy here unless one is from his moms side and the other is from his dad’s side
What the title say William miles feels completely different in the new games compare to 3 do you think they were gonna do a al mualim plot twist or the loss of his son and his organization constantly losing humbled him ?
Here a number of settings I would love to be explored in future full games in the franchise (not spinoffs like the Chronicles side-scrolling games)3)Khmer Empire - possibly a full game adaptation of the Assassin's Creed: Apocalypse expansion for the boadgame Brotherhood of Venice, or a new story4) Vienna during the Baroque period - famous figures like Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven, a wide sprawling city with lots of landmarks to climb5) Bolshevik Revolution - a bit of a stretch, as it may be too modern and controversial, but it is a period seldom covered in media and video games other than Battlefield 1 and The Last Train Home, AFAIK. Historical figures could include Rasputin, Lenin, Tsar Nicholas I, and Trotsky.6) Spanish conquest of Inca/Aztecs7)Akkad during the reign of Sargon
Is it fair to ask for Ubisoft (chances are they won’t change it) to remove online, multiplayer, and/or co-op specific achievements from old games? I’m trying to 100% black flag and see a achievement that says I need to reach lvl 55 or something in multiplayer and yes there’s still ppl playing but what if they stop? How would one achieve that achievement. It made me look to other assassins creed games like unity. Idk if there’s any online specific achievements on there cause I forgot to look but I know that you can’t really invite friends on there anymore.
from what i’ve seen it looks like it is going back to the “og games” style, and as much as love the newer games style i’m excited to experience the old ways again.
Ubisoft is really tight-lipped on this game which makes me nervous.. this could either be a bigger game than we are led to believe, or this game is going to be a monumental wreck that could divide the brand even further. Usually Ubisoft is super lenient with review embargo’s for the series but this one they seem a bit more aggressive when it comes to striking down anything resembling a spoiler. What do y’all think?? I don’t expect Mirage to be the next best Assassin’s Creed game since Black Flag, but I do expect it to be at least better than Valhalla and Odyssey, but I’m keeping my expectations at a medium. I also hope the games quality doesn’t suffer due to the development being led by a brand new team at Ubisoft.I also think that Ubisoft has to do some damage control on their lore as Origins setup a massive story and then nothing really happened. Like what happened after Bayek setup the brotherhood? Tell us more! Luckily I’m sure that Mirage will be chalk full of lore exposition dumps for that quality control.
Hi! Just started a replay of AC Odyssey. But something really bugs me. After getting the mission to kill the Wolf of Sparta from Elpenor, Cassandra needs a ship. He heads out to the ship builder who tells her that the Cyclop has returned to Kephalonia. Cassandra (or Alexios) heads out to confront the cyclop saying "I get to deal with the cyclop and take his ship, 2 birds 1 stone".However, when arriving to the right place the cyclops ship is not there. There is a bigger ship nearby but upon closer inspection it looks like a ship carrying lumber. Is this the cyclops ship? If yes, why is it filled with lumber? If no, where is his ship?Cassandra then talks to the cyclop, provoking him by sticking his osbidian eye up in a goat. Why? The eye is worth a fortune, and now it is lost? She then immedietly proceeds to kill him. Why could she not just do that without wasting a fortune? Why not just keep the eye??? This is probably the thing that bugs me the most😅Then she talkes to Barnabas who gives here acess to his ship. Nothing that strange about that, she kinda saved his life. Why Barnabas was hanging out in Kleptos bay with bandits is not clear though. Seems like a bad company. Strange indeed. Anyways, Cassandra gladly accept his offer. Leaving not only the eye behind BUT ALSO THE CYCLOPS SHIP, WHEREEVER IT IS. Just because she got another ship, does not mean that she might as well take another ship or at least give it to Markos or something. Also, the cyclop had been a problem for years. But in order to get rid of him, she simply walked right in front of him and killed him. Why didnt she do that way back. Well, because its a game, I get that. But if it was that easy, WHY DID THEY EVEN BOTHER TO TRY TO GET THE MONEY BY COLLECTING DEBTS AND STEALING HIS EYE WHEN THE MOMENT HE SHOWED UP ON THE ISLAND SHE JUST WENT UP RIGHT BEFORE HIM, THREW AWAY HIS EYE AND KILLED HIM!?!?!?!So my questions are: Where is the cyclops ship? If it is the one close to Kleptos Bay, why is it full of timber? And why did Cassandra immediatly forget about that as soon as she got Barnabas ship? Why did Cassandra threw away a fortune (the eye)? Why did she even bother getting it before she met the Cyclop if her intension just was to throw it away the moment they met? And why did they gather money to repay the debt if the moment he was going to land at Kephalonia, Cassandra would just go there and straight up kill him???None of this makes any sense to me!!!
