Assetto Corsa reviews

Early Access Review Now in version 1.0 RC I would recommend it to any Sim racer. I otherwise play Iracing, Raceroom Racing Experience, Rfactor 1 + 2, GSCE etc. (So pretty much all the good racing Sims out there) and have to say that I like Assetto Corsa Pretty much. It's still expandable, but that's also clear, as it's only recently got out of the Early Access Phase. Of all the modable Sims, it is probably the one that receives the most support from the modding scene at the moment: A number of tracks, vehicles, Apps and skins have been in The works or have already been published, the quality is partly great (see, for example, the Cobra, which Originally a mod vehicle was, but then even made it onto the official Vehicle list Of Assetto Corsa, because the Developers found the Vehicle so successful). Those who are into good and clean Multiplayer should join a racing community, because unfortunately crash kids or very inexperienced Racers keep haunting the public Servers and making sure that Races are already in a Destruction Derby on Lap! Ends. Here it would be nice if Kunos might set up a similar System to Iracing (I don't believe in it, though). The FFB of the Vehicles is for the most part great and can of course be adapted for all Tastes.

Early Access Review in Advance, I'm not a Professional Driver, but that doesn't stop me from evaluating the Game:P First the Price, which is 335€million after the Release then €45hefty). Not little, but not too much! The Money is worth it: The Graphic is very vivid. Schader are chic, the Detail of the Vehicles is breathtaking and that of the Routes quite good, that is, the Carriageways were scanned with Lasers (!) and therefore can not be more original, but the Surroundings are only moderately detailed (but that is not The Important Thing:)). The Menus, in my Opinion, are good to handle and not too winding. The Sound I think the Developers succeeded really well, you almost feel like you were really sitting in front of the Steering Wheel! In My Opinion, however, there is still a lack of brands and Models. While there are the latest Supercars like the Pagani Huayra and Classics like the F40, the most Models are from Lotus, right now! There have already been Votes on their Website [www.assettocorsa.net] on vehicles to be added. They had done the same for Stretches. In Addition, there is also an active Community that Manufactures plugs and Vehicles independently, E.g. in their Forum (but you need an Account). Since I'm still a simulation newcomer I can't really judge the Physics, but for me feels very well done, or realistic (drive with Gamepad, however, and only with ABS, steering wheel will soon;). But you can, for Example, set a lot of people on the Vehicles. Tips on what each Setting does are also included. The AI is still in the early Stages of Development, which is why I still leave it out. There Are no rain and Night races yet, but these are yet to come. I haven't had any Multiplayer Experience yet either, but I'll be making up for it soon. I haven't experienced Serious Bugs yet when I think about not even small Bugs come to mind! Kunos Simulazioni has created a very good and beautiful looking simulation so far! I can only recommend! ~ Adrian
