Asteroid Arcade is an arcade shoot 'em up based on the classic Asteroids where you pilot a spaceship, dodge a lot of asteroids and also shoot 'em.

What am I doing here? Solo Mode

• Move: Arrow Keys | W A S D

VS Mode Player 1

It is noteworthy that this project was based on the splendid "Your first GameMaker Game" Tutorial Series by the equally splendid Shaun Spalding. His YouTube Channel is definitively worth checking out if you are planning on working with GameMaker Studio.

The sound effects where made using bfxr.net and the background music comes from ProductionCrate.

Bugs, duh

Unfortunately background music doesn't seem to work in the web version. But because this doesn't really affect gameplay we still uploaded it for you to try out! Just remember that everything gets better with a bit of music, so consider downloading the Executable. Thanks!
