Attack! 1.0

This is a game inspired by and an homage to the classic Space Invaders, created by Tomohiro Nishikado (1978).

I made this game as a solo project for a game jam at Uni using allegro (C++) in September 2015.

All the art assets were made by my friend and fellow student James Dorrington so a special thanks goes out to him.

The controls are simple, just like the game. Simply use A and D for left and right. Space bar to shoot.

I may, at a later date add the destructible buildings (like the original) and a high score table, but this game is essentially finished (sounds are also a future possibility).

NOTE: As with all C++ games written with Visual Studio, you may need to download the re-distributables from the Microsoft website to run this game.
