AtunRa (As Above So Below)

AtunRa is an adventure puzzle game set in modern Cairo and the Egyptian underworld which are mysteriously synced together so what happens 'Above' also happens 'Below' and visa versa.

The player initially plays as Akira, a Cairo street rat and survivor with special skills in this area and the God Sia the guardian of the first gate with special skills in seeing the unseen and greater strength.

A unique play mechanic allows the player to swap souls between the characters and thus abilities as well as swap control of their bodies.

Akira must follow the trail of her brother's kidnappers, figure out what is going on and thus how to stop it. She will encounter cultists, magi, sages, gods and demons (eventually) on her path through the 12 gates of the Egyptian Underworld (and there real world parallels).

Many will be enemies, but also many will be allies that she can work with and swap her soul into to solve puzzles and challenges and defeat the enemies.

Steeped in Egyptian and other ancient mythologies and lore the game is designed to be challenging on many kevels.

This version has a prototype first two (four) levels leading up to opening the first gate and was developed for the 2022 Epic Megajam.
