Aurion: the legacy of the Kori-Odan is a very good game.
With its superb artistic direction, dynamic gameplay and very well written history, Aurion has everything you need to keep you busy. The change of scenery is guaranteed, and difficult to get off in the light of the surprising events. The characters are well written, the humor well-dosed...
The game rests on a hybrid system between the classic RPG and the A-RPG: If in the way of a Mario & Luigi, you start a fight by touching an enemy, this fight is not done turn by turn, but in the way of a classic A-RPG. Sword and magic attacks are then available.
You will discover as you progress the pillars of your aurionic heritage, which will allow you to multiply your abilities on the battlefield and launch powerful attacks. But the bosses will also have this power available, attention...
That's the big Aurion. A fairly long game (counting about twenty hours to get to the end) whose only real flaw is its relative ease. Nothing very serious, nothing that does not taints the great trip in any case. The story is gripping, the endeating characters, the well thought out gameplay, the sublime graphics, the animated cinematics are dynamic... I can only congratulate the development team for this very good first game that keeps us in suspense all along and that is very promising for the sequel.

Hello to the team of Kiroo games through this message I wanted to congratulate you on this game first of its kind. As many I presume, I am part of the generation that grew up with street fighter, Zelda etc. even if we liked the characters we could hardly identify with the personas. So you realize that what many was expecting, with this first fantasy game 100% African. Bravo to you for that!
I am not a great gamer, I would do technical analysis, what I would point out here are the strengths of the scenario.
Firstly, I really liked the concept of duo between Enzo and Erine. The fact that it is somehow both shield and dEnzo weapon (without it it would be very difficult to beat a powerful enemy lol) is original and perfectly illustrates the concept of balance and complementarity between the masculine and the feminine.
Finally, emphasize the spiritual/metaphysical aspect of the game: there is a whole reflection on what is good and evil, the balance of forces through the pillars of inheritance, the mysteries of the Cosmos with the goddess matrix Maisha, the nature of the kâ etc... When one starts the game one expects a banal quest where a young King will start a fight against his "Wicked" handsome brother. And then you showed well throughout the game that the distinction between good and evil was not so easy to perceive....
I also appreciate the social aspect: the problems of human exploitation, ethnic prejudices, wars etc...
The only regrets that I could emit that may not be really criticism are on the one hand the fact of not being able to confront Dekhina Akhey-Ron (what a powerful Warrior lol) and learn a little more about the followers of the Ney-Auri. But I think and Jose hope that this first opus is far from being the last; you have created a universe that has nothing to envy to all the great sagas of epic fantasy, there is enough to do with Aurion in terms of comics, anime film...
In short, in sum good continuation and all my wishes of success to all of you!
