Azure Saga: Pathfinder reviews

Painful. Honestly I do not understand all this positive note majority. Certainly the game started pretty well, the fights look interesting at first, we say it's a nice little jrpg, not too expensive.... Then after 2-3 hours of games, it starts to become more and more heavy. A boring maneuvering as possible, already you are slow, but you get stuck on the slightest element of the map.... Each map looks like a set of small squares, the 3/4 maps of the same area are totally useless and resemble each other, and the more you advance in the games, the more their journey becomes a totally random maze, like "we're doing this room there, then that It holds ".... The level design becomes more and more disgusting with rotten puzzles, because either you spam all the possibilities, or you miss the clues, or just you have the solution on a paper... in the same room u. u if you played at battle chasers, it's a bit of the same kind of displacement as in the dungeons, only here they are much less inspired, so in BC we move with pleasure to discover the next map with its lot of treasures , special event or other interactive element, here no. You just piss yourself to move on, some times some elements shine, otherwise if you want to chopper loots bonuses must click all over the elements of ultra repetitive scenery, hoping that one of them has a little trick, a map of 10 having a chest or a particular item to be able to move forward. Let's add to that a lot of bad fights. The combat system is quite classic, but must farm each new area to be level, BOF, especially in a turn by turn so slow. Then the enemies can be unnecessarily resistant, others totally weak, the mana points do not regen (or then stuff you potions before you start an area... youhou), so to spend some fights faster, you can not necessarily use the special abilities, otherwise you will have to go back to town sleeping every time to recover your Mana/health.... and the loading times between the fights or zone move quickly become tiring. It's annoying for such a weak game technically to type 2-3 seconds of loading every 30 seconds. Of course the fights are random, and on some areas I type one out of two with the enemy that ambushed me, and so starts first, so you can make an infinite stock of Mana Potion and care by going into Dungeon, great. Special mention to the forest and its labyrinth which we have only one seedy clue, which makes you type fights to the chain to understand its functioning, against enemies quite relous, which in addition you steal Mana, is the bitter cherry on a cake already BIE no mold. The animations are ultra rigid, it's a bit disjointed way some mobile F2P, must love. The game is not ugly, but far from fantastic, the bestiaries not frankly very convincing for the majority of enemies, the level design is visually little inspired/detailed, but the illustrations for dialogues with the characters are rather nice. The scenario is not too bad, I have not finished yet, but there honestly I do not even know if I will continue, after the Temple of boredom I am in the prison of non-fun.... However if the background is quite classic, I like the idea of the guy who comes from another planet and who therefore finds himself in a well-past universe and thus with this shift of culture/knowledge/technology. In short, to summarize: + the illustrations of the characters/scenettes + the scenario with the cultural and technological shift between the protagonist and the locals + the prize? -low technically-too much mini load time-the rigidity of displacements VS element of decorations blockers-useless puzzles or unnecessarily hard-slow, with in addition the 95% of maps without any interest (we browse the vacuum of similar maps)-level visually inspired little design, redundant in each zone, painful to browse-medium combat system and enemies poorly balanced, and too frequent-uninteresting secondary quests globally I do not recommend this game, so at the beginning it turns out pretty pleasant, as the flaws begin to accentuate and take over the simple pleasure of playing...
