ENG: Welcome to the Demo of AzureLight! A proof of concept for a Metroidvania that includes Fighting game mechanics. Basically, a metroidvania that plays like a fighting game!

This is a really short Demo. It was made by me and 2 classmates as part of a course in college on game development in the span of 5 months (yes, on top of regular classes!).

Despite not being a full game it did really well. I personally think a game like this has a lot of potential. Maybe one day I should attempt to make a full game out of this. There's no lack of ideas, just a lack of time!

We ended up creating something that is really unlike any metroidvania out there. And frankly, it feels like we're tapping into a type of game that doesn't exist yet (but that I really wanna play!)

The controls and way of playing take a bit of time to get used to, but once it clicks, these two genres actually go really well together!

ESP: ¡Bienvenidos a la Demo de AzureLight! Una prueba de concepto de un metroidvania que incluye mecánicas de juego de pelea. Básicamente, ¡un metroidvania que se juega como un juego de pelea!

Esta es una Demo muy corta. Fue hecha por mí y dos compañeros de clase como parte de un curso en la universidad sobre desarrollo de videojuegos, en el lapso de 5 meses (sí, ¡por encima de clases regulares!).

A pesar de no ser un juego completo, le fue bastante bien. Personalmente, creo que un juego como éste tiene mucho potencial. Tal vez algún día debería intentar hacer un juego completo a partir de esto. No me faltan ideas, sólo me falta tiempo!

Acabamos creando algo que no se parece a ningún otro metroidvania. Y, francamente, parece que estamos entrando en un tipo de juego que todavía no existe (¡pero que realmente quiero jugar!)

Los controles y la forma de jugar requieren un poco de tiempo para acostumbrarse, pero una vez que encajan, estos dos géneros van realmente bien juntos.
