Back to the Future: The Game reviews

TellTale are the King of the modern Point & Click Genré For me. Even though I'm not normally a Fan of this Genre, TellTale still managed to enjoy every single Episode of the Game throughout. TellTale over a Decade after the original Film Trilogy created an absolutely great Sequel. Jap, this is a dilapsed Sequel to the Movies, something that is usually doomed to go down your Pants. DIeses Game is the Exception vond he Rule. You'd like to think that, someone would have travelled back in time and changed our Timeline until the Game is actually good ... Whether that was the case, or whether it's simply because TellTale have simply treated the Lizens with the necessary Respect that it is entitled to, it doesn't matter at the end of the day. What's Important is that this Game, from Start to Finish, is bursting with Attention to Detail and the Franchise. An exciting Story and cleverly written Dialogues that adhere closely to the Style of the Original make this Game a Must for Fans of the Back to the Future Movies.

When gets to you, driving a car, giving you a ladies shoe, you know that you're in the "Back to the future universe"... or... maybe the "Disney" - Universe ...? One of Telltales earlier games. You notice that immediately because the controls are kinde wonky and you controller is fully support and does not really help... Switching to mouse and keyboard I was finally able to make some progress. The known Telltale Games do usually have a dark storyline, based on you decision. This one is different in that way. You only get to listen to the story, while solving puzzles. These puzzles are a little bit tricky, since you have to get them in order or you won't be able to solve some of them. Too bad I got a bug and had to wait around in a building for about 20 minutes to trigger an event. It's a known bug and the solution is only to wait, but the repeating music and the 3 dialogs everyone keeps saying over and over again made it really hard to endure. All in all not one of the best Telltale Games has to offer, but for fans of the movie trilogy still a great way to extend the known story. Edit: I first planned to write a review for every part, but since they are all set to one I am editing this now to cover the missing episodes: The next episodes got way more to offer, no bugs found, challenging puzzles and a just simply hilarious storyline... why are they even trying to travel through time when they always get into that much trouble? Well it gets darker and darker with each episode and each one is more silly then the last one... The last one even turned out to be somewhat epic! After all a game which truly deserves the Telltale Games label on it. Just great. Completion time about 12 hours for me.

It's better to rewatch the original trilogy than to play this game. Looks really outdated these days, story isn't that bad though.
