This game was created for Global Game Jam 2023 (theme: roots)

back-to-the-root is a 2D die & retry game made with Unity. You've been hacked and your only salvation is to reach the root folder while avoiding RAM overflow.

Beware of your files falling on you. If they hit you, they'll be loaded in memory.

Controls (Mouse + Keyboard needed): 

• Move - AD or Left + Right arrows
• Dash - Space

The music was made by us during the jam.
