Backgammon Coach

Backgammon Coach is an application which allows you to play backgammon against the computer, at the highest level, and obtain mathematical indications about the best possible moves. It is an excellent partner to play against and improve your backgammon skills at the same time.

Founded on the GNU Backgammon neural network, an artificial intelligence research project, recognized for its decision making ability, Backgammon Coach joins the world's best players.

Backgammon Coach is also the only backgammon application able to prove that it doesn’t cheat, by simply offering the opportunity to manualy throw dices and to see that it doesn’t change anything…

If you feel otherwise we recommend that you keep the fair-play attitude of top players facing bad luck. Also remember that the computer is excellent at calculating and knows how to best position itself so that a higher number of dice combination will be in its favour. You can try to act as the computer checking the probability at your disposal.

If the computer’s level is too high for your liking you may choose a lower level in options which will increase your chances to winning. However it is recommend that you use the higher levels with the assistance of the Coach function to improve your game.
