Baker's Island

A game made for Ludum Dare 43 with the theme "Sacrifices must be made". The player is equipped with a knife which is useless in combat as all enemies are made of jelly. Instead, the knife must be used to cut slices off of the motherloafs, living loaves of bread, to spawn breadchildren, sentient slices of bread that have multiple uses including soaking up jelly enemies, executing multiple jumps in the air, and even consumption for refilling health.
