Ball & Chain

Play as an escaped prisoner attached to a Ball & Chain and try to make your escape! Controls: 

• WASD to Move.  
• Space to jump. 
• E to pick up and drop the ball. 
• Left mouse button to throw the ball.

Gameplay:  

Use your ball to attack the guards.  Be careful though, they can bonk you with their baton.  The ball will roll around after throwing but will be unmoveable unless picked up shortly after.

More Detail:  

I wanted to make a physics-based platformer game where the player would be attached to a ball & chain and use the ball to attack.  I also wanted to use throwing the ball as a means of traveling by having the player ragdoll whilst getting dragged along, however that was a little too ambitious on my part.  I think I set up the beginnings of something interesting, but it definitely needs some work.   Overall I am happy with what I did in just 48 hours.  I hope you enjoy it!

Planned/Future Mechanics:

 Proper ragdolls, platforming, better movement, fixing rope jitter, aiming the ball throw.
