Bears of Blight

A rom-com puzzle adventure about two bears on a quest to kill a lich king

CONTROLS:

• WASD or Arrow Keys to move
• Space Bar to interact/match tiles
• Hold Enter to drag tiles
  • NOTE: moving tiles does not automatically match them, use space bar for this!

MECHANICS

• Fireball
  • Represented with the wizard's staff. When activated, will begin charging a fireball
  • Match in lines of three or greater
    
  • Special Shape: None!
  • Once the "evil eyes" appear, you've fully grown your fireball
• Flame Sword
  • Represented with the sword icon
  • Match in lines of three or greater
  • Special Shape: Sword/Cross
    • This means a "plus" sign, with only one of the sides being 2 or more tiles long
• Shields Up
  • Represented with the front facing shield icon
  • Shields last indefinitely, and prevent damage from enemies. Taking damage reduces shielding.
  • Special Shape: 3x3 AoE
    • Activating a shield pulls all nearby shields in a 3x3 around the reticle
  • There is a pair of bars on the side of the shield icon which represent how much shielding you have. Once it forms a full arrow, you've reached maximum shielding.

• Shield Bash
  • Represented with the sideways "bashing" shield icon
  • Spends 5 of your shielding to do a little damage
  • Special Shape: 7 Wide
    • Activating a full row of 7 shield bashes will spend all your shielding, deal half that amount as damage, and stun the enemy.
