No other country like Italy - though recently, the United States, may have that honor - can boast a political system so full of crazy, laughable twists and turns. To rule Italy we have the losers: in their job, in their studies… in everything: the bullies who grew up stealing other kids' lunch money, flunked out of university and, having tried all possible shortcuts to wealth, finally find their calling by jumping into politics. The best part about this circus full of grotesque characters is that you can't help laughing at them.

A production made in economics (and you see). It Lacks dubbing and the game environment is very limited (including hotspots). The puzzles are not difficult, although there are some challenging moments and also the alternation Day/night, which was a good idea, is exploited very little in the gameplay and almost for nothing at the graphic/exploratory level. Nice work instead in the comic/grotesque aspect of the Persoanggi and the story with almost Fantozzian atmospheres. Excellent also the drawings, the music does its duty. The product is perfectly adequate to the price they ask (very modest) so I see no reason not to support this indie product Italico.

"Belpaese: homcoming" is a point and click made, from a to Z, by two independent Italian devs. The player embodies Pepe, a loser who returns from Milan to his hometown, without diploma and especially without money. How to find his old mother seamstress (who paid her studies at the University) and confess her misfortune! Cheating, of course!!!
Despite the few places to visit in the village and the few objects in the inventory, there have been some passages "galley" for me mainly due to a logic of the devs completely different from mine! The concept of the passage from day to night sometimes plunges us into many roundtrips; on the other hand, black humor is very present (sometimes even a little vulgar) but the character that we play is not a model of the human kind!!!
Bravo to the devs to have released a vostfr, no voice (so to read), and a second episode to predict, because Pepe and the beautiful Secretary leave for Rome for a new mission, namely... You have to discover it, to fall on the c...!!!

Finally an Italian D.O.C. game!! An Independent product that can compete head-on with any other game of the same genre.
BELPAESE Homecoming is a fun 2D point and click Adventure, set in an imaginary Italian country very characteristic, Naif. The game is really well done and well thought out. Puzzles are not simple, they are studied well. Technically It is not a walk and for this it deserves a lot.
The dialogues are hilarious, full of irony, filled with jokes and undersigned sentences. You Will reject for the whole game this air of cheerfulness, of the sea, being to have to do with characters from the character that, if you're Italian, you'll find similar to relatives, friends and probably even to yourself!
The whole thing should be a caricature of reality but it is much more real than one can imagine, for this there is genius in who created it.
For the whole game I have not found bugs. The Music of some scenarios, after a few hours of play, I silted leaving only the ambient noises, which I often do in many games.
In conclusion, for what it offers and for what it costs is absolutely taken. Personally I lived the adventure as an experience that I remained inside, I was satisfied and I'm also happy to have supported these Italian developers, at the cost of a Sicilian cannoli =)... And anyway it says arancinA!
