Bibou is a great platform game of platform games, it comes out a lot every month, so it's hard to make a choice when you're an amateur of this kind of game. I tried Bibou and I said to you, go ahead!
-Bibou is not expensive. The game is 2 euros, it is not expensive at all.
-The graphics are excellent. It is in a voxelized style and the colors are very nice.
-Access to levels is not linear. You can play at any level at any time.
-And finally, Bibou caters to the excellent players of platform games because it is far from simple.
Let's hope that the author intends to take out a sequel!

Bibou, Bibou, my little bird...
Bibou, released in 2016, is an independent plateformer where one embodies Bibou, who must defend himself against the evil cocus (Coucous?), who came to steal his yellow stones.
Graphically not Whew, it gives a messy effect, which, if we move too fast, quickly gives headache. Lights are too bright, the displacement stustly, it's not very nice. All this makes the progression quite complicated, we can't see some of the things that happen to us, and we die stupidly.
In addition, the gameplay is very basic, and the joystick is only partially taken into account, and can not be changed, because jumping by pushing the joystick up and pulling it down, that is not the most practical.
If we put aside the graphics, the level design is really nice, from the fact that one has to go sometimes at the end of the map to go back to the beginning, but to a place that was inaccessible input of the game. In addition, you can start any level from the start, quite nice if you are bored of a world.
The music is frankly cool, and varies according to the worlds.
But there is another problem that emerges from this game is the fact that the main purpose is to recover the pieces, and that's it. Then there are also some inconsistencies in the game. In fact, every time you launch a map, you have 3 lives. If you are touched, you will die and you will drain a life. However, we would expect that it will not reset our progress of gold coins (nor the time allotted), but it is not the case, so I do not see too much interest in having put such a system.
In short, Bibou could have been a good platformer, if it had been better designed, with more content, as well as adding a goal other than picking up coins.
