Blitz Ability Showcase

Working under Abertay University and under a brief for the AAA game development studio People Can Fly, Team Venus is proud to present "Blitz Ability Showcase".

This project was developed to fulfil a brief designed by People Can Fly which requested a character with a unique ability or mechanic that could fit into a modern first-person shooter.

Inspired by Valorant, a game developed by Riot Games, we developed Blitz and their ultimate ability: Tesla. Tesla is a control ability developed for a damage-dealing oriented character which provides them better sustain and area denial capabilities. By activating Tesla, the player will cover themselves in a shield which partially absorbs damage received, and that damage can then be released in a magnetic explosion which slows enemies and leaves the ground electrified.

In this project, we strive to provide an ample level where this ability can be thoroughly tested.
