Blobbies

Initially built for the Global Game Jam 2022, based on the theme "duality", Blobbies is a variant of Conway's game of life where 2 teams of blobs compete for dominance.

Players take turns to place an initial set of blobs. Once all blobs are placed, then the simulation will run until either there's only 1 team left, the growth for both teams has stalled or the step limit has been reached.

The game is adjustable so that players can choose preferred settings.

There is additionally a demo mode, which will run through randomly placed blobs and you can just enjoy the simulation running.
