WASD - moving
Space- Jump
Mouse - connect objects
Q - break connections
F1 - return to checkpoint
R - shifts physics objects up to unstick them from the floor
The main idea behind this game was the idea of being able to link different objects in the game together so that they move and act as if they are one.
making this with GMS2 I ran into issues and ended up needing to make my own collision system, and with that I also had issues that ended up forcing me to cut content I would have wanted to include such as a moving gondola platform powered by a physics force area. The biggest problem being that Game maker cant make HTML5 projects work right now...
Overall though, the game turned out a lot better and was a lot of fun to concept and design, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
