There are plenty of mediocre Otome games on Steam that you uninstall after Playing and just forget about again.
Also Blood Code is now not an Offensive food in the Otome sky but it is the many small Things that make Blood Code worth playing and encourage me to write a positive Review.
Price/Performance With just under €6b, the value for money is already great but if you are still unsure or simply like to save, you can look forward to the regular Sales of Blood Code. I myself got the Bundle at a Sale for Blood Code-£1.90, Blood Code OST-€0.54& Blood Code Costume Pack-£0.4747.
And I'm really happy that I bought the Overall Package, because the Costume Pack DLC MAKES it a lot easier to Play. The new Garments give various Bonuses when wearing them.
And there we would be at the Point that this is not an omome game in the normal VN style, but one with stat raising. If you don't have any Experience in the Area yet, I recommend Pastry Lovers there the System is much easier and you get the Game in the Sale for €0.49:)
Graphic The Sprites, CGs and Backgrounds are beautifully And lovingly designed, but have strong Differences in quality. Still, everything fits well together.
Sound I personally find the Speakers all have a pleasant Voice and they were also well mixed (consistently same volume & recording Quality).
Those who find it disturbing to hear Mandarin and read English have the Opportunity to turn off the Voices.
The Background Music and the small Effects are not intrusive and can be regulated individually.
Story & Characters The Story has a lot of potential but with the short Playing Time it's no Wonder that these and the 4 different Routes [each With multiple Ends + the usual "end up alone" ends] Come across a bit flat.
Even the Characters don't have much Depth and dejent the usual Stereotypes. However, they are still very adorable and treat our MC well. Except, of course, the Antagonists;)
But What sets this Game apart from the Others, but rather lovelessly published, Otome Games on Steam is that there are regular Updates. The Developer Takes community feedback to Heart and steadily improves translations and the game engine.
Also a big + are the lovingly designed Cards, Badges, Backgrounds and Emoticons.

Sweet little Otome Game with beautiful Artworks * First of all I have to say that-despite the beautiful Artworks-I have lacked a lot.
In some Scenes you could have insert one or the other Artwork so well. Instead, one was left standing with only a Black Image. Some Characters also often seemed loveless. (In Christ, for Example, blurred Edges have been seen).
Another Deficiencies is the Synchro.
I have nothing against Chinese, so you get used to it quickly. However, some Characters were almost not understood at all, even though you have already turned off the Background Music. Sometimes it was so lovelessly spoken-even as a Layman in the Language, you noticed that immediately.
If you can also look past it, there's the Topic of Background music.
Gorgeous Music, no Question about it. But here, too, I am of the Opinion that two More works could have been sealed. It just doesn't seem when in a sad or dramatic Moment, the funny cheerful Tune runs into Perpetual loop.
The Songs from the Opening and Ending, however, I found very beautiful and soothing.
Last thing I have to complain about: The Story.
The Story was good, so in General, but at some point it gets so boring that you just skip some Things. Besides, I often felt that the Translators didn't exactly do the best Work-some Sentences seemed "lumpy."
I also didn't like Leia's Behavior in some Situations, but you could look past that well or badly.
But I really liked the Game principle itself.
You can plan your Week, either spend learning with or go on Dates with your Darling.
It was the first time for me that I played such a Kind Of Visual Novel. Otherwise I only knew how to choose the Options and follow the Story. Here you had a little more Influence on it (though not as much).
However, I think it's a pity that for some things you've always needed a certain Score, but I think that's normal for some Kind of Game?
Anyway, I'm excited about the other Routes.
Despite my great Criticism here, I enjoyed It anyway and I will continue to play it to explore the other Routes as well. (I'm at least trying!)
As I said above, Artwork and also Music are very beautiful. I would have liked more, but they are still worthwhile.
Also the Game itself I will recommend! If you don't mind these Above things any further and hope for a beautiful Story with Vampires, I wish you a lot of Fun! (˶ ′ ◡ ‵ ˶)
