Game made for the 44's Ludum Dare whitch theme was "Your life is currency".

You are a gladiator fighting for your freedom. Each time you win a fight you go to the shop where you can buy items to get stronger or the wooden sword that will make you free (and won the game).

The fact is that the less life points you have at the end of a battle, the more money you earn and the wooden sword that will make you free is very expensive...
