About
Objective:
- Defend your small island from breaking apart. The red triangles break the island by piece by piece.
- You can rebuild the island by killing the triangles.
- Scoring: Pass as many waves as you can
- If the enemies come from a different side of the island, simply rotate so you become aligned to the side enemies are coming from
Controls:
- A and D - move left/right
- J and K - rotate left/right
- W - shoot
- Space - jump
- Shift-R - restart game
- Alternative controls for rotating:
- Q and E (rotate left/right)
- Left and Right mouse buttons
Very ROUGH prototype.
The UI is basically non-existant. My main goal was to get the core gameplay done. This was done for Ludum Dare 42, my first jam. It was a good run to learn more about Godot.
Change log:
Added few improvements based on feedback. Longer bullet range and speed. Faster player speed. Alternative key bindings for rotating. Tweaked spawning. Fixed memory leak.
