Brilliant Bob reviews

"Brilliant Bob" is a Third-Person Platformer. We're Bob, a cool, lilaner Cube. 20 Years already, Bob lived with his Parents on Sekotwana in Peace and Joy. But one Day evil Dr Magazi set off from a foreign Planet to steal the Cheerfulness. Bob was able to fight back, but Dr. Magazi kidnapped his Parents. Bob must now find them and free them. With the actual Gameplay, this absurd but very nice Story has very little to do. We hop over partly moving Platforms, move Boxes, collect golden Dice, flee from Slims and above all: Need to reach the End of one of the 50 Levels without falling down. Actually classically fun, there are not two Problems: The Control and the Camera. The Controls are plentially imprecise, with Gamepad even more pleasant than with Keyboard. Even worse: The often necessary Double Jump does not work every now and then, our Character glitres down from Platforms or can be in the Air every now and then. The camera, which is not free to Rotate, does not really help with this either, often lacks Overview or the Zoom is so close that you can't see much apart from oneself. Too bad, because actually, with a little more Fine-tuning, "Brilliant Bob" Could have become a nice Game for In Between. So it's just good frusty Boredom. Rating: 3/10 Atmosphere 4/10 Story 4/10 Graphic 4/10 Sound 3/10 Game Mechanics 3/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Not so brilliant, Bob. 3/10 Overall Rating

Product received for free Too unpolished yes, as in most Zonitron Productions Games, Briliiant Bob has a nice Approach, but lacks the Finishing touches. Gameplay Granted, even if everything had been done right, you could play the Game well. But it wouldn't have become anything outstanding nonetheless. You simply have to reach the End of the Level quite typically. There are Coins everywhere, but they only seem to allow the Purchase of new Skins. For one Thing, the Double Jump annoyed me a lot, because sometimes it just didn't work, sometimes I also flew way too high. Because this can be controlled badly by the rather spongy control and the poor Camera guidance. The Latter has to be done manually, but you simply lack the Time to take care of the Camera when you jump back and forth between Platforms that disappear after 2 Seconds. These, in turn, are also made really stupid, as the "Disappearing Effect" is already triggered when you touch it. If you Come from the bottom with your Head on it, just fail the whole Level. (And some of these Platforms are places really stupid). For me, it would still be a Point of criticism that wooden Boxes are too easy to knock over And that Wooden Boxes can also be thrown far too inaccurately at opponents. Story So I don't expect a Masterpiece at such a game but please? Bob and his Family are Rebels as any "Worm from outer Space" is Stealing happiness. From the Characters you could also exchange the Parents for "bandage girl" if you get it:-) In any Case, I find the Story very thin and very copy. Ok, the Developers are on Dice, but the Similarities are already quite big Graphic yes, which I felt vain. As quite ok, maybe even pretty good for Zonitron, as the Developers are otherwise more likely to cobble Together "plain" games. Conclusion Tja you see pretty clearly where this Review is going. If the Developers had simply taken their Time again and invested a few Hours in the Game, I could recommend it as a solid, not unusual but nice game. The one offered the Game for €10, I honestly find already crass. Currently, the Game is available for €2 or even cheaper in the Sale. Sure, if you get the Game for 30 Cents or for free, you can watch. But in general I would advise against Buying =) Did the Review help you?
