Broken Sword 3 - The Sleeping Dragon reviews

I'm pretty sceptical after some first hours. The controls are without mouse and thus extremly in-convenient if you are a pc player. movement depents a lot from the camera angle and it is not easy to go straight a line sometimes. The camera is jus a random view. And what I especially don't like in click&point adventures, there are situations depending on your quick action. So I was not quick enought out on the balcony and seemed to miss a red car, which might have kicked me out of the glues in the dialogs.

This Game is not really appealing from the Graphics, furthermore it is very difficult to understand in the Beginning how the control works, as it is quite complicated. The Camera is also not good, as you often get such a twisted Camera View through Objects that you lose your Orientation Smoothly. You also often don't know what to do or how to solve a problem. I wouldn't recommend this game and I also want to get my €5 back that I absolutely wasn't worth it. Now I have a Game at Steam that I did not Install (deleted it) but still in the bibliotek. I hope I could help some people decide whether or not to buy the game.

Clearly less good than the first two flaps. But for having redone the whole series in order... He's finally pretty nice. And much better than the fourth Opus. 3D is pretty simplistic. But precisely, this relative simplicity, combined with very very Flashies colors, gives a small cartoon side to the whole, which makes the pill pass without problem. Still the maneuverability, a little rotten, it must be recognized. But hey, we're doing it. Important note: this steam version is not available in French. And well, George Stobbart without the dubbing of Emmanuel Curtil, it's not quite the same. Fortunately, the Django Guide allows you to fix it very simply (see the community guides associated with the game, directly in steam).

This episode of the series marked a very sharp break with his predecessors. From switching to 3D to platform phases a bit (I say "a bit") to the Tomb Raider, the gameplay was very significantly altered. But, above all, the series lost here what made all its charm! This little side "comic" very colorful, very provided, which was by far nicer, prettier, than this 3D without relief (rather ironic, no?). And it's probably not by chance that the last episode came back. From there to say that broken sword 3 is bad, there is only one step. Not that I will not cross, personally, because I found that the recipe did not work so badly, even if it should be recognized that it was much better before... Verdict: 3.5/5-which is good, but not top.
