Caïssa Britannia
About
This variant of chess was originally created by Fergus Duniho.
Overview:Caïssa Britannia has a Queen centred nature of chess with Lions, Unicorns, Dragons, and a royal Queen. The major pieces are the Unicorn, Rook, and Prince Consort, while the minor pieces are the Lion, Dragon, Bishop, and Knight.
The whole objective of the game is to checkmate enemy queen. Unlike in Chess, where the King might never fully trap another, one Queen may trap another in a corner, which can allow a single minor piece to checkmate the trapped Queen. To add on the one can make combinations and strategies in order to defeat the opponent.
