About
"Call of the Wind" is a 2D horizontal version game mainly based on scene puzzle. In the distant ancient times, there was a people who could control the power of the wind. They were grateful for this power, and thought it was given by the Goddess of the Wind, so the people built a Temple of the Wind to worship her. The temple itself is machine-operated, which is full of ancient people's understanding of the wind. Hundreds of years later, the protagonist explored and awakened the relics left by his ancestors with the power of the "create a gust of wind". The puzzles of the game are designed around the core interaction mechanism of "create a gust of wind". Unlike traditional puzzle games, players need to understand and use some wind characteristics to complete the puzzle. The game is operated with a keyboard, and it supports gamepads.

Then we spent over 1 month to finish this version, and the development is paused for now.

《风之唤》是一款以场景解谜为主的2D横版游戏。 遥远的古代,生活着一个能驾驭风之力的族群。他们感恩、敬畏这种力量,并认为它是被风之女神所赐予的,因此族人们建造了一个风之神殿来供奉她。而神殿本身是一个巨大的机关,其中饱含着古人对风的领悟。数百年后,主人公凭借“扬风”的力量,探索并唤醒先人留下的遗迹。 游戏的谜题围绕着“扬风”这一核心的交互机制而设计,不同于传统解谜游戏,玩家需要切实地理解并运用一些风的特性,才能完成解谜。 游戏使用键盘操作,支持手柄游玩。
我们用了8天的时间完成了 它的原型(地址:https://mcatin.itch.io/call-of-wind),
并在此基础上用了一个多月的时间开发了这个版本,目前开发暂时停止。
