Castle of Illusion reviews

I'm not usually a Person who writes Reviews, but here I have to do it. Castle of Illusion is a Remake of a Retro Game for the SEGA Genesis. In fact, however, I only realized this after I finished the Game, which is why I will not go into the Differences between the Original and the Remake here, but evaluate the Game for itself: First, the presentation ... Consistently perfect in my Opinion and clearly the strongest Point of the Game. You can literally see that the Developers have put a lot of Love into this Game. I myself, with my 20 Years, am no longer too big a Mickey Mouse Gucker or fan, but as a Child I actually dealt a lot with the little mouse and Can thus say: For Old-school Fans of Mickey Mouse, there is a lot here in The art style and the design of the Levels too See. The Music is also great, of course, although I have to say quite clearly here: It is very Old-school. What do I mean by that? Basically the Same thing, which I said at The Presentation: Whoever stands on Old-school Disney Entenhausen Charm will feel completely at home here. But If you don't like it, the Music will probably leave it rather cold. From my Side, however, there is only praise for the Music. Technically, I only had 2 minimally small Glitches in Game 2 and otherwise everything went perfectly. Not 1 times the FPS broke in for me, I had a bad Bug or something like that. So Technique: 1A! Now, of course, the most important ... The Gameplay First of all, I should make it clear that this Game is likely to be very appealing to 100% players as they have VIEL to collect HERE. You are constantly rewarded with new Costumes for your Successes or play out loving Portraits & Statues in the Castle. But even for Players who don't like to collect everything, Castle of Illusion offers plenty. The Platforming and Level Design are, in my Opinion, animal Fun and the Degree of difficulty increases surprisingly steadily. And believe me: For thinking a Mickey Mouse Game is more intended for Kids, this Game becomes really very hard in Phases. In Addition, there is a Ranking in which you can compete with the Players worldwide, which, however, left me personally cold. There Is also a Time Attack for each Level, but not for bosses and strangely, I have not yet seen that you can compare your Best times with the Players on the Leaderboard, but only the Score. If that were really the case, that would be my only major Criticism of the Game for me. Don't worry, though: Castle of Illusion is a slow or fast Platformer, depending on how fast you want to play it. The Choice is entirely up to the Player. I haven't said anything about the Story now, as in my Opinion it exists more besides all the Rest. It is fit for purpose, even if I personally displeased the End of a BISSCHEN. However, this is a SEGA Game full of Disney Charm, so you can think of what to expect at the Story. What I would like to praise briefly, however, in a Side Sentence, is the extraordinarily successful Presentation of the Story. In fact, I hardly have any negative things to say about this Game ... Just that a few Platforming Elements sometimes struck me a bit bitterly, but which may as well have been my own Fault. In Short, This Game is a Must for any platform fans, Old-school Disney fans & Nostalgists, In my Opinion.

Rich gameplay, superb graphics sublimated by the screen retina, a gameplay that does not suffer from touch ... The developers did not care about us. Low hat for these artists who have produced a beautiful game the hour of purchase in-app omniprsent. I prefer to pay 899 and have a wonder (complete) like the one in the hands than to download a dung (free in the best case but very often pay) and still have to pay a fortune after to unlock levels, equipment or credits. Thank you Sega, it's games like we want!

The gameplay really nice and addictive and therefore I strongly recommend this game but a couple of criticisms of disney must do it. The render really too poor, they have calibrated the very low quality to make it support from all the devices while you could easily create a low setting and a high detail for the most recent terminals, especially given that in some environments it is played in depth and therefore the shadows on the ground would help to perceive the position better. Another error is that of leaving the controller unattached by default but fortunately you can change it from the options.

The game is beautiful but you can know why the devil the virtual pad moves completely based on how you move your finger and does not remain still in the first point where you put your finger when you have to move as it happens in other titles? I know that if I want I can set the pad fixed but too low for my taste ... really, this thing of the base of the pad that follows your finger wherever you move doesn't make sense to exist, in the most absolute way! You arrive at certain levels where it becomes physically impossible to pass the level. I'm sorry but you don't deserve more than three stars, for now, otherwise I would have given you ten.

After the first 5 minutes playing, I was refreshed for a short time. I thought wiping (moving Micky left or right) and tapping (jumping) just runs in succession. Keep wiping + tapping at the same time = let Micky jump a long way, I found out only a short time later. Graphics is a feast for the eyes and play easily on my iPad mini 2. Feel free to ask how much this game or similar Jump'n'Run games (like Super Mario, Donkey Kong, etc.) cost Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Wii. The games for consoles also do not have more levels. AND it's a game with no in-app purchase, so no more cost to rake up the game. 8,99 EUR is quite reasonable.
