Catch & Release reviews

Product received for free I've never been fishing but this game feels pretty much like I imagine it. You can sit in your boat row around and catch some fish and sell it. The best thing is that you can catch a lot of different fishes and each of these is different and gives more or less money. I especially liked the rowing mechanics it just feels like you are sitting in a real boat. The game is one of the best looking VR games I've played so far. The art style is nice and fits perfectly the setting. The same goes for the music which you can also change using your radio. So if you like fishing or if you have never been fishing and want to know how it is, this game is perfect for you. It's a nice relaxing game.

Catch & Release is a Fishing Game in a pretty look. (Tested With HTC Vive) We are on a Rowing Boat on a mountain lake. On Board: An Angel, Sandwiches, Beer And a Radio. In a small Tutorial we get explained the Basics of the Game and then let loose on the Fish. In a Manual We find information about the individual Fish and a List of tasks. After completing Tasks, we unlock new Equipment, such as new Bait, a new Angel or other Accessories. In addition to the great Graphics, the Controls when Fishing stand out. With Triggers we enter String, with the Crank we catch the Hook. Sounds Simple at first, but makes you really Happy when a Fish has bitten. The Controller Feedback is also great, you really have the Feeling of fighting a little Fight with the Fish. We sell Our Catch by Packing it into a Refrigerated box, we can release Juvenile fish again. In addition to Fishing, Rowing is one of our Main Tasks. After some Acclimatization, it works quite well. On the Radio We can choose from 3 existing Channels, allerding the Range of songs is very limited. After just under 8 Hours I have not yet played all the Bait, but I am also currently stuck in a Task, I do not manage to throw the Bait 35 Meters wide, hope that will;) (Has worked out in the meantime) The Game can be played both in standing and sitting. However, I recommend sitting in a Swivel chair, as the Fish partly swim around the entire Boat. Here, unfortunately, the Vive's Cable is disturbed, as it wraps around the Chair after some Time ... Even if the Game is a lot of fun for me, there are still a few Criticisms. We can't create a Profile, so just continue a Game or start again. Every now and then, the Fish "gets caught" in the Scales and they stick to each other. 1x lost my Camera and I had to buy it new. (Not tragic, you earn enough) A few more Fish would be great, too. Nevertheless, the Game does a lot of things right, so I make a Buy recommendation. Greeting Ziffi Ziffi's Game tips as Curator: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/5837414/
