About

Cattle and Crops is a new generation of farming simulation designed with special attention to detail.

You have the choice: control the vehicles yourself and experience realistic driving or leave the work to your employees, lean back and enjoy the field ballet.

Highly detailed machinery, realistic harvesting methods, original sounds and an authentic vehicle physics system offer you a compelling experience in Cattle and Crops.

Experience the varied everyday life of a farmer. Choose between a story mode or free play. The game also provides additional tutorial missions to make you familiar with the simulation.

Hire employees to cultivate your fields, or to assist you when you’re harvesting. You can delegate tasks with your calendar and watch your employees do their job or take care of the work in front of you on your own. Cattle and Crops provides a complex employee system where the workers take care not to damage the harvest.

Skillfully avoid unnecessary driving tracks on the field to keep soil compaction low so your plants can spread their roots in the loose soil to maximize the yield.

Take care of your crops so don’t hang their heads and make your fields prosper.
Plant growth (using the real BBCH scale) is based on multiple soil attributes like moisture, pH value, temperature, sunshine hours, NPK fertilizer and diseases.

Gather the harvest at the right time and try not to get stuck in the mud when it’s raining.

Cattle and Crops offers a range of big, well known industry brands such as CLAAS, Köckerling, Lemken, Mercedes-Benz and a lot more.

Extend the game with your own vehicles, implements and maps. We’re providing you with all the tools you need for it.

Cattle and Crops reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Early Access Review "Good Thing wants to have a while" First of all: Unfortunately, there is only a "Yes" or a "No" here when Recommending. There is no "whirlwind," but a "No" would not be right at the moment. Where an Agricultural Simulator, like C & C, is doing, should be clear. The Reason why I am writing a Review here is because of the many, sometimes unjustifiably negative, reviews. Comments such as "ridiculous Game," "only runs with 30 FPS," "no Good Engine Noises," "no Multiplayer," "Steering Wheel does not," "AI does not work," ETC. Dear people ... It is an Early Access version at the alpha stage. Anyone who can read is clearly at an Advantage, because the Developers said that the Game has currently been limited to 30 FPS For development reasons. That won't remain the final Value, but the Performance Optimization of a Game Doesn't happen until the very End. And Engine noise is certainly still being revised and The Multiplayer is certainly Still making Inroads. And definitely steering Wheels work, at least my G27 works impeccably. Many obviously compare C & C to Giants Agriculture Simulator. Clearly C & C also wants to make everything better. It is forgotten that the LS has been developed (and further developed) since 2006. LS2008, LS2009, LS2011, LS2013, LS2015, LS2017 and soon LS2019 ... That's 7 Generations and with a Development Time of almost 13 Years, has this brought exactly how much Innovation from Version to Version? C & C has been used since 2 (?) Years developed. Let's Take a look at the LS17 WITHOUT Mods. What do we get for it? Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Hackers, wood complezers, ploughing, grubbers, saw, harvest, fertilize, animals, a strunzun-shessential Helper, Still no dynamic ground, Multiplayer, mod support. What makes the LS interesting? The arcade-heavy gameplay? Driving Physics? The rectangular, "help-friendly" Fields? Or is it the Mods, such as driveControl, Courseplay, GearboxAddon, Seasons, MORE Realistic, IC, MP Manager & Fabrikscript or The many Maps with loving Details? Yes, it's the Mods and not the vanilla game. What do we get at C & C at this early Stage of Development? Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Hackers, ploughing, Grubbers, saw, harvesting, fertilising, cows, a helper AI that is already superior to that of the Standard LS (Also that of the LS19), dynamic Ground, Mod support, dynamic Weather, real Driving physics (moreRealistic), Catchment Animations on Machines, Calculation Of each Plant in Motion, no uniform, repeatedly copied trees, Quest system, management system (which only arrives in a similar Form in the LS19), Simulation difficulties Adjustable. In terms of basic Functions, C & C is already the better Simulator, even if vehicle Selection is still limited. Masterbrain Bytes include some Modders who, at their Creative Time in LS's mod community, delivered the Innovations that kept the LS alive. Giants, Too, cast People away from the Modder Scene or do you think Forestry in the LS15 was an Idea of Giants? Didn't much more the 13-Era forest mod lead to it? The Success of the kevink98 MP manager has ensured Giants implemented something similar in the 19s. The Lighting of the Vehicles can be traced back to the Light script of Sven333b from 2011 ... The only Mistake you can accuse the Guys & Girls of Masterbrain Bytes is the far Too early start of the Early access phase. The People who have invested money by Crowdfunding and during the EA want to see Results at some point, otherwise the Game dusts faster than thought in the digital Drawer. The Fact Is, however, that C & C offers more Simulation compared to the vanilla version of the LS, with 85% less Development time. And the Makers listen to their Community, unlike Giants. The Players always make Wishes to Giants, who are sparsely, lovelessly or not implemented. Once again, the modders will have to judge the Modders again for the 19s. Conclusion: Stay fair with your Reviews, look outside the Box, look at facts objectively and give the Project the time it needs. I firmly believe that for the major release, something Big comes out.
