Checkmate (YC-Qiu)

(Please open this game in 1920 x 1080 setting, and make sure your PC's display setting is '100%' scaling)

Checkmate is a chess-like strategy game with randomized rogue-like elements. Total 5 levels (including Tutorial), you win the game when you defeat the boss at the final level. 

Use Different Spirit to defeat the enemies! Be careful with your spirit count, you lose when it drops to zero! But don't be afraid, you can get rewards to strengthen yourself via collecting items! Think of your future actions, and save your spirit count as possible as you can!

You may also lose when the enemy attacks you. Try to avoid standing in their path.

You keep your stats when entering the next level.

• Space - Toggle Indicator
• Mouse Left/Right - Use/Discard current chess spirit

Special Abilities (Cost Exp)：

• Castling: Swap two chess spirits
• Advancing: Get an advance of your current chess spirit.

Feel too hard? Try to use Hope Mode to save all your progress.
