Cherophobia (itch)

Cherophobia (kē″rō-fō′bē-ă) is the medical name of the feeling of aversion to happiness.  Currently, cherophobia is not listed as a disorder. Some medical experts, however, classify it as a form of anxiety. An irrational or heightened sense of fear related to the perceived threat (https://www.healthline.com/health/cherophobia-causes-and-treatment).  Someone who has cherophobia isn't necessarily a sad person, but instead is one that avoids activities that could lead to happiness or joy. Examples of symptoms associated with cherophobia include rejecting opportunities that could lead to positive life changes due to fear that something bad will follow.

This short 3D experience focuses on a disorder that is not talked about, and on the effects of social pressure and responsibility on an anxious person. The feeling of being locked in a room trying to achieve what everyone is expecting from you, and the feeling of wanting to escape the four walls that have grown to become your entire life.
