Chess Ultra reviews

Chess Ultra is the first Chess Game I bought on Steam. While the beautiful Graphics and Gameplay have convinced me after a short Time, there are some Criticisms that will hopefully be factored into upcoming Patches. Pro:-appealing Visualization-nice musical Accompaniment-different Tutorials in Single Player mode-different Game modes regarding the Timer (Lightning, 45 Minutes, Endlessly, Etc.)-is a lot of Fun when you play it with Friends Contra: There is a very Serious Problem-as the Timer doesn't start until soon after both Players have entered the Match, it often happens that an Opponent waits a few Hours to enter the Game and make his Opening Move. From that Moment on, Time is running out for both Players. If you are no longer on the PC at that Point, you have lost automatically as time runs out. It is simply very annoying and pointless to lose EloPoints or Tournaments by the fact that the Opponent does not make his Turn until 4 o 'Clock at night, for example, even though you started the Game at 8 o 'clock in the evening. One Solution would be to consider the current Game invalid if one of the two Players does not enter the Game within a short Period of time Or make the Opening Move. I hope a future Patch fixes this Problem-then it would really be a great Experience online! Nevertheless, I recommend this Game if you want to play against Friends who don't live right next door!

Product received For free Very nice chess game on Steam I got Chess Ultra provided free of charge by the Publisher in order to be able to play Some enjoyable Rounds of chess during my Live streams. If you want to see a little Video Footage, you can therefore click on the Video linked to the end of the Review! :-) Pro:-beautiful Visualization of the Chessboard-tutorial function for very easier entry-a special Matchmaking System to compete Online against equal Players-many different Backgrounds, Characters, Colors and Game Modes- Challenge Mode: You can reenact old Moves from world Championships and play other Challenges-uncomplicated against Friends-mMn. Gorgeous musical Accompaniment-very good integrated twitch function: The twitch chat can vote by Command where the next Figure is placed. So You can compete super against your own Community! -Tournaments available online-easy Operation including display of possible Moves for Beginners-thanks to the Elo points (Matchmaking) you can select equivalent computer opponents Neutral:-Online Moves do not have to be made immediately, games can be delayed Will (Advantage + Disadvantage!)-Price is relatively high. But You have to bear in mind: It's a modern Chess Computer! Contra:-Certain timer Functions don't work until the first Player makes his Move. However, if he Does not do so until 4 o 'clock in the morning, although one was looking for the Game in the evening, one loses relatively easily. -no Chat Function-no self-selectable Camera position Generally, the Game is really a nice Chess computer. I mean.. Who didn't have one then and still loves Chess today? ;-) So I was able to play a few Rounds of Chess again (lightly rusted ^^) and confidently "forget" everyday Life. For just under 13, though relatively proud Price, but should be improved in matchmaking mode, it's worth a Laying! And as promised-here's the Video from my livestream Yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xGSW-b2FRc
