Children of the Nile: Enhanced Edition reviews

The Game is actually relatively easy for a Build-up Game (especially if it compares to the old "Pharaoh" Of Sierra), but I still like to play it. But You can decorate your City so beautifully ... Would like to have even more options ... It's a pity that there are no Mods in the Workshop. For such easy Building Fun in between, the Game is good to use-especially when you stand on the Egyptian Theme.

A single word for this game: I played 28 minutes of sheer horror Visual because of the French translation that is just horrible! not a Word without a spelling error, and the ponpon returns to the display window blocked 1024 * 768 under window 10, impossible to change. Pretty outdated graphics for 2008, even the Pharaoh series where Zeus, the master of Olympus surpasses this soulless game. to be avoided. --------------------------------------------------------2/10-------------------------------------------------------------------

This game is superb. You have to know the food, the bricks, the statues, the limestone,... and social services (schools, health, justice,...) I think there are a lot of professions. All this makes the game very interesting even when you know it very well and that it is mastered. Beware, there are villagers on the map but there will never be immigration, only emigration. To increase the population, we have to wait for demographic growth. The graphics are excellent. I highly recommend it to those who love antiquity, city-builders.

This game is beautiful. It is not very recent but the images are still very beautiful and thanks to the performance of recent computers, one can thus increase the details without having a game that paddles... On the concept side of the game, I love it too. At the beginning, one can be impressed by the number of resources available but in the end, one gets used especially that their operation is quite similar. Unlike other city-builders, the characters are not anonymous: they have a name, evolve in time (child then adult) and in their profession (a villager can become a farmer then a craftsman, or then a merchant of luxury then noble). Here, we choose the location of the buildings but they are not built immediately: it is necessary to wait either that a resident comes to settle there (farmer, servant, merchants) or that a Mason brings the required bricks and then the building. I find that very well. In addition, we can build wonders: pyramid (several sizes are proposed), statues,... even the Grand lighthouse and the library in the extension... I recommend this game to all those who love city-buiders (other than contemporary), which are rare nowadays
