Chiptune Champion reviews and comments

Do you like Chiptone? You say that guitar hero was better before? (Guitar hero Warrior of rock). So yes the two games are not really in common but I feel this same pleasure when I play Chiptone Champion:-the difficulty that is there but you know when you train you can get there even if you go to shit-the sensation that when you play in expe mode RT, Ben you play the "real" music with your little fingers-this addictive look that makes you say "good go one last and I stop" and that several pieces after you are still there-that immense pleasure when you get to spend a RIF of crazy that you never passed before-l a willingness to appear in the best scores on the leaderboard (if you have a competitive spirit) then Yes, it's from the Chiptun so have to love otherwise go your way. I also like to know that if the game works well (it has all the air) and the community follows, we will be entitled to songs created with the Publisher present in the game. And there, to us the pieces of MegaMan, Mario, Zelda, Sonic, etc etc... In short, it's a good game:)

I have a lot of experience in "fingerDDR" games (I have +1000 hours on stepmania) and I can say this game is amazing Pro : -You really feel the rhythm of the songs you play (the official ones at least). Which is not always the case in Stepmania. So you get into the music and the game more easily and with more pleasure. -The scoring is really good and clear, it makes you want to try the songs again for a better score. -2 different game modes : Strum and tap. Strum is like playing guitar hero, Tap is like playing stepmania. -The custom songs which makes the game pretty much infinite. Without counting the fact that there is already 37 songs x 3 difficulties Cons : -As an expert on stepmania who can play songs difficulty 15-18 at 2 to 4x the normal speed, I can say this game is even harder. Why ? Because you need more than 4 fingers for some of the difficulties. I have to say though, the first difficulty is extremly manageable, but the expert one might be really hard to master. On another note, the game isn't really kind to you, and most of the time, you have to be perfectly in the rhythm. -The strum gameplay doesn't feel really adapted for keyboards, I really have no clue how anyone could play the medium/expert mode with a keyboard, but once again, it's up to your determination. The tap mode isn't really easier, but i'd say it's more confortable to play at least. -Be very careful if you have eyes problems, it might be me, but when I finish a song, I always feel dizzy and have optical illusion for a few seconds (screen that moves by itself etc...) I guess it's normal, but yeah be careful That's pretty much it, this game is amazing, but beware, there are three levels of difficulty, one being totally manageable, but the others need a bit/lot of training. It's pretty much like playing an instrument, you can just try to be average, or work harder and harder to be the best.
